This is a fairly straight-forward puzzle. We have the word "I'm" made from pictures of ears: "I'm all ears"

I gave the hint that you needed to fill in the speech bubbles with what they were saying. The guy who was shivering is saying "Brr". A cat says "Meow" and Homer Simpson says "D'oh" Put them all together and you have "BrrMeowD'oh" in the shape of a triangle. As I count, that would be four puns (for sure three, it actually is a triangle). And the picture of Bermuda in the background should have helped as well. Put everything together and you have the Bermuda Triangle. This one took careful observation before even beginning to figure out the meaning. Looking closely, one can see that the first part of the author's name is missing. Those letters are S T E P. Thus the meaning of the puzzle "Missing a step." PS I forgot to hit "Publish" last week, so this stayed in my drafts. I thought this was appropriate to start the new year with. After all, at the end of every year, one usually hears sentiments like "The best year ever" etc. So all of the arrows are pointing to the last letter which gives us the cliche / song title "The End of the World" (song by R.E.M.) Hopefully the cerebral itch or ear worm or what ever you call it goes away soon :-) |
